I Love All Things Girlie.....

I drank the kool-aid, people. I indulged in some of the trends that I was trying to avoid.

First I got the Anthropologie Limited Edition golden inital mug. I know they have been out for a long time, but I gotnot one but three. I called around and the Anthropologie closest to me in Marlton had them on clearance for $7.95 + 25% off. Score! They had all the unusual letters, the Z's, X's, U's, and they had THREE "S" mugs. And I bought all three!

Next, I got the Starbucks ceramic tumbler from the Dot Collection 2014. My co-worker got me into it and I had to have it. But they were sold out everywhere before Chrsitmas. I searched everywhere but I ended up buying it on Amazon.
Which I love. I am going to get it monogrammed shortly. I also got this from my (CG) community bible study group as part of a care package when my dad was first in the hospital a couple of months ago. I love the hearts on it. So I didn't bother really looking at the rest of the collection for others. Which is how I missed out on the gold polka dots. I love polka dots!

Then I went to target on my lunch break and bought the Nate Berkus desk accessories. I purchased the gold-tones shears and the gold-tone stapler. I have been eyeing these for a few months, but the first time seeing them in-store. I didn't like the gold-tone tape dispenser, I actually like the Kate spade tape dispenser on covered in acrylic.

But now that I look at the Kate spade stapler(on the right). I like it better.  (Maybe I will hold get that one instead? We will see....)

But my last indulgence that I is today the trendy/infamous blanket scarf that online. But now that I think about it, I wonder if they will have on Canal Street in Chinatown. I might pick up one on my way home. We'll see. Looking forward to the long weekend. But also honoring the purpose of MLK Day, too. Have a blessed weekend.

Start of a New Year

It's been a slow start to 2015, but I am pumped! My dad was discharged from the hospital for the 4th time in three months. But I am grateful for God's grace because he's on the mend. He had a transfusion of 7 units of blood plus three units of plasma. He had no blood in his system. But he is doing so much better.

I live in South Jersey, but New York is home. I still work in New York, Brooklyn to be exact. So I am there almost daily. My commute consists of traveling 6 hours a day. But today...today was special. I got off the subway at Penn Station after work to this.....

It was crazy tonight!

Well I am home now.

But I am going to catch up on some much needed rest.

Goodnight
XOXO
